Obituary of Edgar Lloyd Riggsbee

Edgar Lloyd Riggsbee Chapel Hill Edgar Lloyd Riggsbee, 91 years of age, passed away on January 7, 2015 after a brief Illness. Lloyd was born on August 18, 1923 in Chatam County, NC to T.V. and Sallie Riggsbee. He graduated from the UNC School of Pharmacy in 1945. He was employed at Duke University Outpatient Pharmacy for thirty years. He was a past master of the University Masonic Lodge #408 in Chapel Hill, NC. Lloyd is survived by his loving wife, Betty Scott Riggsbee, of the home and children, Sara R. Mandalinich (David), son L. Scott Riggsbee( Michelle), grandson Shane Riggsbee(Katie) and great grandson Jayce Riggsbee. The family will receive friends at Amity United Methodist Church in Chapel Hill, NC on Friday January 9, 2015 from 6-8 pm. The graveside service will be Saturday January 10, 2015 at 11 am at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church 269 Manns Chapel Rd. Pittsboro, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Amity UMC 825 N.
