Obituary of Alma McBroom Nichols

Trynis McBroom Nichols Alma Trynis Nichols, of Hillsborough, died Friday, January, 30 2015 at The Hock Family Pavilion in Durham, NC. She was born September 5, 1920 in Orange County, North Carolina to Charlie & Bertha McBroom. She was married to C.B. Nichols on August 26, 1945. Surviving are her daughter, Bertha Nichols Saunders (Max), two sons, Ben Nichols (Susan) and Ray Nichols (Phyllis), two grandaughters, Cassie Nichols Summers (Kelly) and Allison H. Nichols-Clapper (Hank), grandson, Phillip Nichols, great grandchildren, Kessel and Ransom Summers and Tabitha Clapper; and nephew, Charles McBroom (Donna). Her husband, father, mother and siblings Travis McBroom and Viola Gates preceded her in death. Trynis was a long time resident of Hillsborough. She graduated from Helena High School . The funeral and visitation will be held Sunday, February 1 at 2:00 PM at New Bethel United Methodist Church. Visitation will follow in the church after the burial.
