I met Don at the Duke Center for Living several years ago. We shared something in common as we were both heart patients and former employees of WTVD. I remember him as always smiling and doing "Zumba" with the rest of us gals. I am so glad our paths crossed and I know his spirit lives on.

I have fond memories of Don that date back to the mid-sixties when he wrote about our fine Durham High School basketball teams of 1964 and 1965. He was always complimentary and we all appreciated his kind and encouraging words. Many of us lost a fine man and good friend. I send my blessings to his friends and family.
