Obituary of Rita Ashley Patterson

Rita Ashley Patterson lived an adventurous and interesting life. She was a daughter, mother, grandmother and a loving example of God's love to many. She was born June 21, 1947 in Durham, North Carolina. She spent her formative years growing up in Hillsborough, on the outskirts of Chapel Hill. After attending Elon College, Rita married Pat Patterson and had one daughter, Heather. Rita was a devoted housewife and mother. She began teaching, studying the Word and intercessory prayer from the time she got saved until her last day on this earth. Her greatest desire in life was to fulfill the destiny God had laid before her and to see anyone that she had the opportunity to cross paths with, do the same thing. She received her ultimate reward of seeing her loving Lord on February 4, 2015. She is basking in His glory and dancing all over Heaven….that was something she had always longed to do!! All of our love, Pat , Heather, Ashton, Daisy and many cousins, aunts, uncles, friends. A time of visitation will be held at Church of His Presence, 24142 State Highway 181, Daphne, Alabama 36526 on Monday, February 9, 2015 from 2 - 3:00 PM followed by a funeral service at 3:00 PM.
