Nancy helped me to be a better person for having known her, taking me under her wing several years ago and always welcomed me if I needed her advice or just to talk. She had a deep, abiding love for her family, and I will never forget her and her kindness and reaching out to me. We were both animal lovers and shared many laughs over our much-loved pets. She was such a generous and selfless person, and I miss her, and my thoughts and prayers are with her family. I have no doubt Nancy is in a much better place which brings some comfort.

I will always remember my Aunt Nancy as a beautiful and amazing person in my life. I was born on her birthday, so we shared a very close bond. When I was a young girl, I had a bad habit of sucking my thumb. I always loved Nancy's fingernails because they were so long and beautiful, and that made me want to have nails just like hers. So I started trying to grow them out, and that kept me from sucking my thumb. She was so talented; she was a writer, an artist, a seamstress, she could cook, and she was a great mom. She was the cool Aunt.
I know that she really wanted to see my Uncle Bob again. He was the love of her life, and she longed to be reunited with him. He just happened to celebrate his birthday the day before ours, so it made our relationship special all around. In addition, she looked forward to reuniting with her brother, my father, and her mother, my grandmother.
I will always carry the gift of her influence in my life and I hope to be as wonderful a person as she was. Even though the pain of losing you is so great, I know in my heart you are where you are supposed to be. And I'm happy you no longer have to feel pain, and that you are back with your loved ones who have passed on before you. You will be missed here on Earth. But your legacy will be carried forward in the memories you have inspired in me and countless others whose lives you have touched. And you will always have your children and grandchildren to carry on in your place. I love you Nancy. And I will miss you so much. Rest in peace.
