Mary Ann McAuley McDade 98, passed away on Thursday June 4, 2015 at Hospice Haven in Rockingham. She was born to the late Evander and Lizzie Dawkins McAuley in Richmond County. In addition to her parents, Mary was predeceased by her husband John Henry "Jack" McDade Sr. and her brothers Lawrence, Auley and Leroy McAuley, 3 nephews and 2 nieces. Survived by her son, David Dawkins McDade of Durham, NC and nieces Brenda McAuley Mitchell, Judy McAuley Chidley and Hazel McAuley Ethridge and nephew Authur McAuley.
Special thanks to the staff at Hospice Haven, Richmond County Hospice, and Memory Care unit at The Hermitage for their compassionate care.
Graveside services at 2:00 Monday, June 8, 2015 at Westwood Cemetery, Carrboro, NC with Hospice Chaplain Chris Thornton. Memorials to Hospice Haven, 1119 US 1 North Rockingham, NC. Walker's Funeral Home in Chapel Hill, NC is serving the family.
