I'm so saddened and sorry for your loss. Carol was such a special person and always had a grin. While I have a lot of memories of working and playing at Orange Co. Speedway in the scoring tower with her, my first memory is as a child, her & Joe coming to visit in SoBo for a race. We bonded over our shared love of soaps - and the fact that they were being pre-empted for the OJ trial.

I remember playing softball with carol at new Sharon many (too many) years ago ( when we were young). Carol was very active and loved and lived life to the fullest. Prayers and sympathy to her family.

It is so hard to face times like this in our lives but with the strength of God you will make it through. There will be many hard days because you will miss her then the light will get a little brighter and it will be easier. Carol was a wonderful person who always had a smile on her face. I graduated with Carol and Pat and remember those times spent in Bookkeeping class with Mrs. Gordon. So sorry to hear about Carol. I have known Carol and Joe since Keith and Terri Brannock were married.My son and daughter in law. She was truly a joy to be around and yes she truly could cook the best cakes. Last time I saw Carol was at her home. She and I set in her swing and we had wonderful conversations. She told me she couldn't wait to retire. So sorry for the loss of a wonderful friend. May God Bless each and everyone of her family. Joe God Bless you and Russell and I love you very much. What a sad time, Carol was my 1st cousin my Dad and her Mom were brother and sister.I can remember Carol may have been 6 she had a knife and was cutting twine with it she jabbed the knife in her eye. Butch and Eppie came by our house to drop off the other siblings. Then they took off with Carol to the ER. They were able to save her eye. She will be greatly missed.
