Obituary of Jerry Broadwell Stone

Jerry Broadwell Stone, 91, passed away July 10, 2015 at Duke University Medical Center. He was born in Hillsborough, NC November 22, 1923 to the late Nora Williams Stone and William Thomas Stone. Jerry was a veteran of the US Army and was retired as a Judge with the National Labor Relations Board. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by wife, Irene Price Stone; brother, Bill Stone; sisters, Helen Stone Roberson, Sally Stone Satterthwaite and Emily Stone Davis. Those left to cherish his memory are nieces, Elizabeth Loflin, Jennifer Satterthwaite, Clarene Bennett, Sandra Comer and a host of friends. Service will be 11 AM, Tuesday July 14 at Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough. Visitation will be from 6-8 PM Monday July 13 at the funeral home. In Lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made in Jerry's memory to Wesleyan Church 216 Collins Ave. Hillsborough or the Hillsborough Presbyterian Church 102 W. Tryon St. Hillsborough.
