Obituary of Jerry Bryant Taylor

HILLSBOROUGH - Mr. Jerry Bryant Taylor, Sr., 78, died July 1, 2013, in UNC Hospitals. He was a native of Orange County and a graduate of Hillsboro High School. He served in the US Navy for four years during the Korean War. He was a member of Lawrence Road Baptist Church. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. Surviving are his wife, Billie Parker , his daughter, Teresa T. Diggs (Stephen), Asheboro, his son, Jerry Taylor, Jr., Hillsborough, five grandchildren: Dwight R. Lane, Jr., Daniel J. Riddle II, Blake Taylor, Griffin Taylor , and Evan Taylor. He was predeceased by his wife, Christine. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday in Walker's Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev.
