Dear Marsha and family, I was very sad to read of Bev's death in the N&O. It was totally unexpected. We were friends for a very long time and had many good times together. She was always there for me when I needed her. She was a strong, brave lady whom I admired. I will miss her tremendously. My condolences to you and all your family. Love, June Johnson

Jeff and Marsha, I am writing to send my sympathy to you both. Beverly and I were roommates in McIver Dorm spring semester 1958 at UNC. Our favorite activity of a Sunday evening was to traipse across campus in our pajamas and raincoats to procure chocolate milkshakes at the ice cream shop, skipping along, singing "The Teddy Bears' Picnic." The last time I saw her was at Costco, about three years ago, shortly after I moved back to Chapel Hill from 51 years living near Boston, MA. She visited me while I lived there. She was so full of life at that time. I regret that she met such a sad ending. Cecilia Husbands Menard

I met Beverly 35 years ago. I knew her professionally and has a friend. She loved to dance. She loved to travel. She was a nice lady who remained a friend throughout when she moved to Hillsborough. She had unfortunate medical issues and I did not see her again, but remember her well. My sympathies to you.
