Obituary of Lovey Pendergraph Riley

Hillsborough - Mrs. Lovey P. Riley, 85, died Friday, October 23, 2015. She was a native of Durham but grew up in Orange County where she graduated from Hillsboro High School. She married Ollie Riley and worked until she retired from GTE. She cared much for her family, friends, and church. She enjoyed cooking and reading. Surviving are one son, Gary Riley, grandsons: Rusty Riley, and Stephen Riley, two granddaughters, Jamie Riley and Heather Carrigan, several great grandchildren, one sister, Julia Morris, and two brothers: Frank Pendergraph and Bobby Pendergraph. She was predeceased by her husband Ollie Riley, two sons: Mike Riley and Steve Riley, one brother, Wink Pendergraph, and two sisters: Ruby Bagwell and Agnes Porter. Funeral services will be held 1:30 PM Sunday in Walker's Funeral Home Chapel by Pastor David Bolick. Burial will be in Maplewood Cemetery, Durham. Visitation will be 12:30-1:30 PM Sunday in the funeral home.
