The Jester family remembers Mr. Bruce well. He worked with our late father (James Jester-J. J. ) on the police force in New Iberia, La. We extend our condolences to the Temple family. Many mornings in the 1970's we would wake up with a dead rabbit on our front steps courtesy of Bruce who killed it during the night shift. Been knowing Mr. Bruce all my life thanks to my dad. Many wonderful memories come to mind. I always felt safe when I worked late nights at the station. He always came to check on me and sometimes shine his very bright light at me. He would come over and he and dad would discuss hunting and police work. Roaring laughter would always end his visits. Now he and dad are in heaven discussing things again. Prayers being sent to the family.

I got to know Bruce as a policeman while I was working in Emergency Room. Later I got to know him as a husband of one of my husbands family members. He was always a polite, caring person going the extra steps for you and your family. RIP Bruce.

Bruce Temple, will live on in my heart! He was a steady influence in our community as a police officer. He and my Dad, I am sure are catching up in heaven. So many fond memories of great conversation in our store. He was passionate about life, his family, and friends. Many prayers to family and friends as we celebrate his reunion with our Lord.
