Chip worked in furniture marketing, specializing in Scandinavian and Italian designed furniture. Chip joined "Living Easy Furniture", later named ECHO. He was interested in furniture history and styles and was gifted in assisting families choose furnishings to match their living style, especially older clients as they "downsized" their living arrangements. He was talented in helping businesses design unique furnishings and arrangement. Through these activities, Chip developed many friends in Chapel Hill and far beyond. He read extensively in history and literature. His interests were eclectic and restless. Chip Greatly loved the out of doors, from the NC mountains to the sea, and his travels in Great Britain and Europe, but he was never more at peace than when he was fishing with his dear friend Jeff. The flora, fauna and the beauty of This Earth were his great joy. Perhaps, he will now enjoy an even greater view and joy in GOD'S CREATIONS.
