Obituary of Juanita Scarlett Sturdivant

Hillsborough - Mrs. Juanita Ella Sturdivant, 86, died Sunday, November 22, 2015. She was born in Hillsborough, NC on August 30, 1929 to the late Reldue Elijah Scarlett and Pearl Mae Carden Scarlett Surviving are her brothers, Bobby R. Scarlett and his wife Carol Ann, Edward A. Scarlett; and aunt, Mary Ellen Scarlett. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, James Sturdivant and sister-in-law Daphene Scarlett. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday in Walker's Funeral Home by Rev. Randy Carter. Visitation will be 6-8 PM Friday in the funeral home. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Juanita's name to First Baptist Church of Hillsborough.
