Gail, Denise, Ann and families,
We are so sorry for the loss of your father and we are sorry we cannot be with you at this time. Our thoughts and prayers are with you now and in the weeks to come. May God bless you all with peace and comfort during this time. The Outreach Committee from Mars Hill which I was a part of would visit with Roy at Hawfields when we could and it was such a pleasure to talk with him. He seemed to have peace and seemed very satisfied he was there. We will truly miss visiting with him but you know he is grinning from ear to ear now seeing his lovely wife Garl-Dean. You all are very special to us and may God be with you.

Roy Wilson volunteer many hours of physical labor in the construction of Hillsborough United Church of Christ on Davis Road...not because he was a member, but because he was a good man. He wanted to see Good News planted no matter what the banner. We will never forget his kindness.
Roy and Garl-Dean were a wonderful couple who created a fine family. Our sympathy to Denise, Gail and Ann, you were the stars in their crowns and you were fortunate kids to have had them as parents. They were salt of the earth people, and now they are reaping their eternal rewards together again and forever.
Peace and love, Kaye and Joe Crawford

Our deepest condolences to all of the family our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Daddy Wilson was a wonderful person that i first met when my daughter was playing softball at OHS. Denise I will always remember him fondly being there for all of the girls each year and not just during ball season. When Laurens father passed away suddenly I remember him coming to our home that day to offer comfort to each of us he was one of the kindest most tender hearted people I ever met. I can see him clearly now at the ball field offering encouragement to all the girls.. If there is any thing we can do please let us know.

Sorry to hear about Roy, a childhood friend, bus driver, and around good person all his life. I was very sad when I heard Garl-Dean had died because I knew how much Roy would miss her.
I can't think of a better, more solid (in all respects) citizen of Orange County. Rest In Peace Old Friend.
