I had the privilege of getting to know John Allen during my junior year of undergrad at UNC. He and Anne were always so supportive of me during my time in undergrad and law school. John Allen was a kind soul and his storied career was an inspiration to the younger generation. My deepest sympathies and prayers to his loving wife, Anne, and his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, as well as all of his friends and extended family.

My heart is full of love and gratitude for Uncle John Allen. I feel so very blessed that he was in ours lives. He made us laugh and smile and was genuine and sincere. A big hearted, loving uncle we will always hold dear. God Bless Uncle John Allen.
