We grew up down the street from you on Fountain Ridge Road. We moved to Miami in 1985. I fondly remember many hours of bike rides, building forts, and playing in that huge field next to your home. Chan was always kind and making jokes, especially on the bus rides to Girhens Jr High.
May you all find comfort in your memories and be blessed knowing he’s your angel on your shoulder. We send you many prayers for your healing.

Hello McArthur Family, I'm a neighbor living in the area.
Having heard of your most recent loss, I want to leave you a brief post. I too, well know the grief of losing love ones, and that at times like these,it is encouraging just to know that others are thinking about us. Something that has really helped me to cope with such losses, is the wonderful promise of Christ Jesus, recorded for our comfort at John 5 :28,29. I hope, that when you are feeling up to it, that you are going to look up these powerful Scriptures, in your copy of The Bible. Also, I hope that this brief note, finds The Family feeling as good as can be expected Today.

I played basketball with Chandler on Monday nights at Woodhaven Baptist Church in Rock Hill. We take up money to help pay for utilities each week.
A couple of months ago, Chandler came up to me and ask if we could possibly use some money to maybe sponsor a family of the church for Christmas. I ask the Pastor the following week and he agreed that was a wonderful idea.
Four weeks ago Chandler came up to me after I announced the plan to the rest of the group. Chandler handed me a blank check for $100 and said this should get it started off right.
I think this might sum up his personality. Even though I didnt really know him all that well, for him to come up with the idea first and then make such a generous first donation just goes to show that helping others and giving is the true meaning of this crazy life.

Sending my most heartfelt condolences. I’m going to miss seeing Chandler at the YMCA at Baxter and around different places in Fort Mill. No matter when or where I ran into him, he was always smiling and just a perfect gentleman. I know he will be greatly missed, by not only me, but also by all of his family, friends, and many acquaintances. I will never forget his kindness and pleasant demeanor with everyone he knew. McArthur Family...the words do not exist that could describe the sorrow and pain of the loss of Chandler. Lisa and I can only offer our Love and support, which is not near sufficient to fill this void left by his passing. Rest assured, Chandler made this a better place for all who had the honor to know him...and call him a friend. He will be forever missed, but always remembered...I pray Chandler found peace, because he always was Loved.
