Obituary of Joseph Wade Forrester

Joseph Wade Forrester, 63, of Hillsborough passed away April 30, 2016. He was born on July 19, 1952 to the late Mary Medlin Forrester and Warren Forrester. He was a native of Orange County and graduated from Hillsborough High School. He then began his life's work of construction with Riggs-Harrod until his retirement. He was a former member of the Eno Volunteer Fire Department and an active member of the Hillsborough Moose Lodge. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by brothers, Jimmy Forrester and Johnny Forrester. Those left to cherish his memory include his wife Linda B. Forrester; daughters, Sherry Forrester, Juanita Forrester McKean; son, Joseph Wade Forrester, Jr.; brother, Jerry Forrester and his wife Joyce; 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren and lifelong friends Ross Long and Pat Medlin. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday May 4, 2016 at Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough. Visitation will be from 1 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
