Obituary of Shannon Allen

Shannon "CJ" Allen, 39, of 916 Hale St. Durham, NC, resigned his soul to God, Monday morning December 26th, 2016 in his home. Shannon graduated from Orange High School in Hillsborough. He was a punch crew supervisor for Gutierrez Framing company in Raleigh, he was very proud of and loved his job. He enjoyed spending time at home with his fiancé, his "Miss Princess", and his sweet dog Clyde. Shannon loved his family very much, every member close or estranged. Most of all his son, he was so proud of the man he had become and loved him very much. He is survived by his Fiancé Scarlette Cox, of the home. His son Justin Allen of Stem. His Father Tony Allen & Step-Mother Evetta of Durham. His Mother Jandy Davis & Husband Frank of Stem. His Grandfather David Causey. His sisters, Jessica Allen of Timberlake & Skyler Allen of Durham. Kristen Lovings & Husband Jay of Stem. Charity Terrell & Fiancé Josh Lee of Elon. His Brothers Anthony "TJ" Allen & Wife Carmen of Youngsville. Doug Terrell & Wife Haleigh of Mebane. His nieces, Payton & Kristan Allen and nephews, Jonathan & Jayden Terrell. He was preceded in death by his beloved "Maw-Maw", Ruby Causey of Durham. He is at peace now in her arms. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, December 30th, 2016 at Central Baptist Church located at 1922 Buckhorn Rd Mebane, NC 27302. Visitation will start at 12 noon, followed by a celebration of life at 2:30pm held by Rev. Danny Stone. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to Walker's Funeral Home in Hillsborough to assist with Funeral Arrangements.
