Obituary of James Ronald Blaylock

PERSON COUNTY TIMBERLAKE - Mr. James R. "Shug" Blaylock, 78, of 880 C. C. Andrews Road, Timberlake died Monday, January 16, 2012 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Blaylock was born on March 3, 1933 in Person County, son of the late Charlie Bradsher and Annie Elizabeth Ashley Blalock. Shug attended Helena School prior to serving in the U.S. Army in the Korean War. He was a member of Red Mountain Baptist Church and retired from Duke Power as an auto mechanic. He is survived by his wife: Paulette Harris Blaylock; son: Michael Shane Blaylock; god children: Christa Webb and Jonathan Jordan; brother: Melvin Blalock and wife, Clarious Memorial services will held 2:00 pm Saturday, January 21nd at Red Mountain Baptist Church by the Rev. Dave Prayor and Dr. Tom Jordan. The family will receive friends at the home, 880 C.C. Andrews Road, Timberlake, NC. Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough, 204 N.
