Obituary of Grace Laura Berry Parker

On 16 November 2024, Grace Laura Berry Parker passed away at the age of 96. Grace was born to Jerome Grandon and Clara Miller Berry on Mary Hall Road in the Caldwell community on 20 November 1927. She was proceeded in death by her husband, Willian Dewey Parker, son William Wayne Parker (Mary), infant great granddaughter Elaine Ruby Parker, brothers Lennox, JG, Roy, and Daniel Berry, and sisters Hazel Cagle and Pearl Simpson.

She is survived by daughter Barbara Parker (Carlton), and grandchildren Shane, Carley, (Sarah), Williams (Emily) and Maryanna Parker, her brother Coy Berry, and sisters Mary Belle Jordon, and Virgilene Poplin.  

Grace was a beautician and owner-operator of a beauty salon for over 50 years. She a was hardworking, social person and very active in the Little River Presbyterian Church and the Caldwell and Schley communities, especially the American Legion Post #452 in Schley.

There will be a celebration of life at the Little River Presbyterian Church on 20 November 2024 at 11:00am followed by a graveside burial and concluded by a visitation in the fellowship hall.

Pallbearers are Williams Parker, Carley Parker, Jay Berry, Michael Jordan, David Berry, and Shane Parker.
