Obituary of Kelly Levi Huffman

Kelly Levi Huffman of Efland, passed away peacefully in his sleep after a long battle of health complications, on Tuesday October 15,2024 at White Oak Manor in Burlington.

Kelly was born on September 30, 1944 in Iredell County N.C. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jason Levi Huffman and Nacy C. Benfield both of Iredell County. He is also preceded in death by his five siblings, Louis Huffman (Mooresville NC), Elsie Robinson(Roanoke Rapids NC), Clyde Huffman(Mooresville NC), Haley Sinclair,(Tallahassee FL), Bobby Huffman (Charleston SC). 

He served in the United States Airforce from 1965-1968 and was stationed in Puerto Rico during the Vietnam War, where he mastered skills in Communications.  He worked for Bell South for thirty three years as a Lineman, specializing in Communications.  

He was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Mebane ward.  

He was a father of four devoted children, Jason Levi Huffman(Kaite), Jennifer Huffman Wilson(Todd), Jessica Huffman Slaughter(Jeremy), Jaclyn Huffman Fullmer(Robert). Nine grandchildren, Austin, Hunter, Julia, Rebecca, Abigail, Dakota, Dillion, Benjamine, Breanna, and seven great grandchildren.

The family will pay their final respects with a graveside service at One O'clock Monday afternoon, October 21, 2024 at Alamance Memorial Park, Burlington. Keith Stanely will be speaking at the graveside.
