Throughout the past four-and-a-half years of battling small cell lung cancer with unwavering strength and faithfulness to God's plan for her life. The UNC Cancer Center provided exceptional care during this time - she had an amazing oncology team led by an exceptional nurse navigator Tammy Allred. Despite the challenges she faced every day during this battle against cancer never once did she give up hope or lose sight of what truly mattered most to her: spending precious moments with those she loved dearly.

Family was everything to Debra – especially her grandchildren who were the center of her world. She treasured every moment spent with them whether it was in person or through FaceTime calls that brought joy into their lives even amidst difficult times. Laughter became their solace when facing pain together - Mama’s infectious laugh brightened their darkest days.

Her work as a self-employed house cleaner alongside Crystal Robinson spanned over two decades where they built strong bonds not only with clients but also formed lifelong friendships along the way.

In addition to being a dedicated worker Debra enjoyed cooking for loved ones, watching cooking shows, tending to her flowers, watching TikTok videos among other things that brought joy into everyday life despite its hardships.
She remained steadfastly faithful throughout all trials knowing that God had a plan for every twist turn encountered along this journey called life.
