Obituary of Priscilla Faye McGhee

Priscilla Faye McGhee, age 64, of Durham, NC, passed away on May 29, 2024, in Hillsborough, NC. She was born on February 25, 1960, in Durham, NC.

Priscilla was a loving mother to Dana Moody and Jeremy Moody & wife Laura. Her greatest blessings in life were her grandchildren Alexis, Jordyn, Caleb, Braedyn, Reese, Brayleigh, Mila, and Rhett who were the apple of her eye. She is survived by her brothers Norman McGhee, Gordan McGhee, Wayne McGhee, and sister Wanda McGhee. Priscilla is preceded in death by her parents Bill and Bertha McGhee, and sisters Linda Rook and Sheila McGhee.

Priscilla was known for always providing a smile and a compliment as long as she liked you. She loved spending time with her family sitting around laughing and roasting each other. She enjoyed time with friends, and would take any chance she could to sit on the beach watching the waves crash and the sun set. Her resilient and feisty nature shone through as she was always able to create something out of nothing. Priscilla will be remembered for her stubborn yet loving personality but always true to herself nature.

While she didn't make it to Florida like she wanted, she did make it to Heaven in the loving arms of Jesus.

Services for Priscilla will be held on Monday, June 3rd, with visitation at 5:30 pm and the funeral at 6:00 pm at Walker's Funeral Home in Hillsborough, NC.
