Obituary of Sharon Dean Walker

Sharon Dean Walker passed from this life on March 27, 2024.  Sharon was born on July 14, 1960 at Duke Hospital in Durham.  She retired from Duke Health  as a Staff Specialist after 27 years.  She was a loving daughter, sister, mother and friend with a loving heart.  She was preceded in death by her father John Dean.  Sharon is survived by her mother, Mary Dean; husband, Ken Walker; brother Ricky Dean (Jamie); sister Karen Dickey; children, Kevin Nicholson (Emily), Adam Nicholson (Ashley), Jay Nicholson, Kimberley Walker and Stephanie Benfield (Lee); grandchildren, Rylee Nicholson, Sawyer Nicholson, Brooks Nicholson, Skylar Benfield, Brayden Benfield, Dylan Barnhardt, Zoe Barnhardt.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 30 2024 at 2:00PM at Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough and will be officiated by Rev. Odell Link.  Visitation will be held one hour prior.  Pallbearers will be Chad Dickey, Clyde Dickey, Matthew Dean, Mitchell Dean, Dylan Barnhardt, Brayden Benfield, David Dezern and Dale Walker.  Family will be at the home of Mary Dean.

Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough is assisting the Walker family.
