Obituary of Lois Marie Hamm

On Wednesday March 13th 2024, Lois Marie Hamm loving mother, sister, friend & life long partner passed away at age 56 due to cancer.

She is preceded in death by her parents Dalton Hamm and Gracie Hamm Snipes, Brother Tony Hamm and Sister Phyllis Scott. She is survived by her sisters Sarah Hamm and Cindy B Hamm, life long partner Troy Sykes, and her children Michael Sykes, Cheyenne Vaughan ( Justin ), Carter Sykes, Cayden Sykes and she was a mother to Destiny McCracken and Claire Taylor. 5 Grand children Gracie Vaughan, Emmalynn Vaughan, Aiden Vaughan, Cassidy Vaughan and Codey Ladd ll. Nieces and nephew are Tammy Mishoe ( Will ), Tony Hamm ll, Dalton Hamm,  and Libby Hamm. 

Lois was a hard worker for many years till she was unable but she loved being a home maker and a mother. She loved her family & friends more than anything. Lois had a passion for cooking. She also loved kids and animals, yard sales and spending time with family and friends. Lois was also very close too her two best friends Joan Dodson and Anna Lee. Lois was loved by many and will be missed very much.  

The family will receive friends for a visitation one hour prior to the service on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 2:00PM.  Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough is assisting the Hamm family.
