Obituary of Frances May Sechrist

Frances Sechrist (Mama), 84, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2024 with her family at her side.  Mama was born in Lynchburg Virginia to the late Edward and Katherine Fulenwider, Jr.  Mama received her high school diploma in Greenwood South Carolina where she played in the band.  Mama worked very hard as a weaver at Cone Mills in Hillsborough North Carolina for many years.  Prior to retirement Mama worked at NC Mutual Wholesale Drug Company.  Mama had a love for her dogs, birds and growing vegetables.  She loved to sit and drink a cup of coffee and talk a while.  Surviving are Mama's son Roger (Butch) Martin; daughter, Kathy Hall (Wesley); grandchildren, Christopher Martin, Teyler Higgins (Jeff); great grandchildren, Aubree Hall.  There will be a private family gathering in honor of Mama.  Walker's Funeral Home of Hillsborough is assisting the Sechrist family.
