She was fervent in her faith in Christ Jesus to the very last breath. Her Solid Ground would never let her down. She had bedrock trust in God, who is forever her Savior. She invested time in listening to others and sharing with them according to their needs. She thanked God for His enduring Strength and prayed for others to be strengthened. She never denied the beauty of Creation, the simplicities and complexities of this life. She saw God as Father, Friend, Comforter, Healer, Helper, Guide, the Way, the Truth, and the Life. She also saw Him has the loving Lord who is over all! Therefore, she would remind you... bird songs will fade, pencil sketches will smear, and fantastic memories will transform. But the Word of the Lord stands forever. May God bless her forevermore.
...
To help categorize memories:
1) Where she lived... the year(s), the people, the church, the ministries, the highlights, the little blessings.
2) Where she visited with you (or someone you know)... whom she met/saw, what she experienced, what it means to you
3) What did you learn from her?
sandbox, sand dune, lake and ocean, sea shells, rock collection, mountains, flowers and plants, bird books, colored pencils, cooking, laughs, animals of all kinds, people of all back grounds, vacation and trips, visiting, witnessing, praying, whistle, hum, sing, supporter, encourager, forgive, piano, radio, poem, draw, write, clippings, games, listening, time, walk, neighbor, friend, family, Jesus
I remember her from the 1990s to 2023. I remember the church in Florida the most, because it was right beside the parsonage-- like two car lengths away from each other. I remember she and her husband helping a black single mother get to where she needed to go. I was with them at the time. I also remember them listening to a Christian radio station in the car, something like BBN.
3 words to sum her up
1Prayerful-- for God's will and others to love Him.
2Watchful-- that she might be ready for His Return or her death, and also to share while she could.
3Welcoming-- others to enjoy a pleasant time together, always willing to share her hope in Jesus.
She loved you, even if you did not know it
