Obituary of Delores Faye Horton

Delores Faye Horton died at home on Sept 5, 2023 surrounded by family.  She was 83.

Mrs Horton was born January 22, 1940 in South Boston, VA to her parents Andrew and Rosetta Cole.

She retired from GTE and Duke University.

Mrs Horton is survived by her four children.  Michael Horton, Alan Horton (Kim), Dennis Horton (Cathy), and Deborah Smith (John). Faye has nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren and one surviving brother Gene Cole, of Halifax, VA.  Along with many of nieces, nephews and cousins.

Per the wishes of Mrs Horton, the family will be hosting a floating Celebration of Life at the home of Alan and Kim Horton 7209 NC Hwy 86 North, Hillsborough NC 27278 on Sunday September 10, 2023 from 1:00pm- 5:00pm.   All are welcome to come by.
