Obituary of Philip Scott Utley

Philip Scott Utley, 75, of Hillsborough, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2023 at Southpoint Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center in Durham, North Carolina. A veteran of the United States Navy, he was born on March 28, 1948 to the late Scott Thomas Utley and Lucille Elizabeth Patrick Utley, both deceased.

Philip is survived by two sons; Scott Thomas Utley II and Christopher Lee Hill, both of Mebane, North Carolina.

A Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, July 15, 2023 at Palmers Grove United Methodist Church at 11:00am with the burial to follow in the Church Cemetery. A time of visitation and reception will be held in the church fellowship hall immediately following the committal service in the cemetery.
