Obituary of Patricia Collier

Patricia “Tricia” Collier passed away on Friday, May 19 2023 at the James & Betsy Bryant Hospice Home in Pittsboro, NC. Born in Richmond, Virginia. Daughter of the late Samuel E Westbrook Sr and Adelaide Charles Westbrook of Winston Salem, NC. Patricia was graduate of the North Carolina School of the Arts and earned an Associate’s degree from Wingate University. She also attended University of North Caroline at Chapel Hill. She started her banking career at NCNB in 1969 and later transitioned to medical surgery as a OR surgical nurse at the UNC Hospitals. Patricia finished her career as Assistant Vice President at NationsBank. One of her passions was needlework and she owned her own cross-stitching business for some years. In addition, Patricia had a passion for animals and volunteered for several groups in support of the community.

Surviving are Harry S Collier Jr of Chapel Hill; daughter, Ashley A Collier (LoriAnn Summers) of Columbia, SC; bothers Samuel E Westbrook Jr and Gregory C. Westbrook (Anne); seven nieces.
