Obituary of William Franklin Horn

William “Bill” Franklin Horn, 88, of Hillsborough, North Carolina, passed away on Monday, May 15, 2023 at the VA Hospital in Durham.  He was preceded in death by his parents Lacy Horn and Eunice Rhew Horn and brother John Horn.  Bill was married to Elsie Cagle Horn for 66 wonderful years and had three children, his true pride and joy; Cindy, Gary, and Gina. He served in the US Army from 1954-1957, before working at Comfort Engineers for 34 years. He loved Jesus and found such joy in sharing The Word with others. Bill looked forward to every Sunday, where he and his family would share a meal together. It goes without saying—he left an impact on his family and this world that will never be forgotten. In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by his children, Cindy Justice (George), Gary Horn (Deena), and Gina Jolly (Kelly); grandchildren Kevin Justice (Kelly), Brent Justice (Allison), Ashley Dispennette (Nate), Kaitlyn Salguero (Kevin), Kaira Chnupa (Jacob), and Brandon Horn; and great-grandchildren, Elijah, Claire, Jayce, Catherine, Cannon, Luke, and Miles, his brothers James Horn and Steve Horn (Linda), and his sister Geraldine Bailey.

Pallbearers will be George Justice,  Kevin Justice, Brent Justice, Brandon Horn, Nate Dispennette, Kevin Salguero, Eli Dispennette and Jacob Chnupa

Funeral services will be held at Ebenezer Baptist Church on Friday, May 19^th. Family visitation will be from 1:00 pm – 2:00 pm. Service to follow.
