Chuck was a kind, caring and fun loving gentleman. I will cherish all the wonderful memories of holidays, RV trips, special events and dinners all of us spent together. I love and miss you. - Cindy H. Uncle Chuck as I called him had been in my life from the time I was born, since he and Aunt Denise and my parents were friends long before I came around. There was a joyful presence every time he was around, with lots of laughter and fast quick witted jokes. We spent many vacations and holidays together, as well as celebrating birthdays, and those are moments I will cherish forever. I will miss the look on his face every time he saw me come through the door and tell me how much taller I'd seemed. He was a kind and gentle man who will be dearly missed, and I will love him forever. <3 Brittani H. "There are friends, there is family, and then there are friends that become family"

I love and miss you my husband. You were the most important person in my life. Life will be different with out you but what we shared was wonderful my love. You were smart, amazing, and very creative. You figured out how to fix and build anything. Like the wagon wheels I wanted for our deck railing. With your imagination and creativity I had them! You were honest, sincere, loving and I could go on. I was so lucky to love you and spend almost 42 years with you. Our pets we've had through the years were lucky to have you as their dad :) You will be forever in my heart and I will see you again my love! 1436 - Denise

My Grandpap was an incredibly kind, talented, and good-natured human with the best sense of humor. He was never one to boast about himself but always knew how to make others around him feel special. He never failed to tell me how proud he was of me and what I was doing. Some of my fondest memories as a kid were going to visit Grandpap and Denise over Christmas break. It was always an exciting time to see them and their two horses. I'll never forget the Christmas when it snowed enough to take the radio flyer sled for a ride down the hill outside their house! I am grateful for the time I spent with my Grandpap and will miss him dearly. He was a big fan of happy hour, and I will always think of him when I crack a beer. Cheers to you, Grandpap!

Jerry and I will miss our brother “Joe”. So glad that we were able to visit with him and Denise in September. What a truly wonderful man. This is my favorite picture of the two “Snyder brothers”.

I'll always remember that special smile, that caring heart, that warm embrace and you always being there for me. I'll always remember you when I drink a beer and I can hear your say "Is it time for a beer ?" no matter what time of day. I'll always remember the good times we had at Lake Lure Rumbling Bald resort, and everytime we passed the sign you would say "That's me Grumbling Bald!" I'll always remember your quick wit, and good nature. I'll always remember you Dad because they'll never be one to replace you in my heart and the love I will always have for you! Miss you Dad! Pam

Please know how saddened Mark and I are for the loss of Chuck such a dear and wonderful person. I will always cherish Chuck’s friendship, humor and best looking legs I have ever seen on any man. He was always proud to show off his legs. And the several trips to get hot chocolate or ice cream Chuck and I made while Denise was in PT will be treasured memories, Annette

My grandfather was an extraordinary man of immense talent and had an incredible sense of humor. On his 80th birthday I was helping him set up a speaker in his living room, I told him a story about a beer, he looked at me and said Mike I don't have my hearing aids in but I heard beer and it's 12:00 you want to go crack open a cold one. He never missed family functions and I'm happy he was apart of my wedding. Above all my grandfather was a role model and inspiration. I'll miss him dearly.
