Obituary of Mary Margaret Coyle

Mrs. Mary Margaret Williams Coyle, 86, died on Sunday, July 22, 2012 at Duke University Medical Center. Mrs. Coyle was the daughter of the late John J. Williams and Mary Boyle Williams of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She was the widow of John Joseph Coyle. She was a long-time member of St. Thomas More Church where she worked as a teacher in the lower school and in the office of the upper school for many years. Surviving her are her three daughters, Kathleen Porter (Jim), Chris Cooper (Dick), Maureen Coyle (St.John Kelliher), five grandchildren, Kira Porter Boyd (John), Rob Porter (Sarah), Kelly Cooper, Richard Cooper (Stephanie), John Cooper (Kristen), and six great grandchildren: Beau and Caroline Boyd, Morgan and Owen Porter, and Abby and Julie Cooper. A memorial mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, July 30, 2012 at St. Thomas More Church, Chapel Hill, North Carolina. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Thomas More School for the Mary M. Coyle Scholarship Fund
