Sally, I was crushed to read of Jack's passing in the Skinny. He was such a special person to me as I admired his brain and his sense of humor. No one did puzzles like Jack, and I spoke with Scott Lauretti, Saturday, telling him of the loss to all of us. He shared his sorrow, also. I remember how carefully you took care of Jack, assuring that his diet was fit for someone with a problem. Especially in this time I'm happy that you are with your children, as much as I miss having you around. You were always so special. Many of our mutual friends have passed or moved to be with their kids. It's not the same place. The picture of Jack that was in the magazine shows such a beautiful human, and reading of his relationship with his grandchildren made me smile but feel even more, the loss to his loved ones. marilyn sheridan
