I'm going to miss fishing with you Gordon. That was so great when you caught that big red drum near our place! I remember watching you fish and thinking that you're so patient! I'll also miss just sitting and talking with you. You were a wonderful Brother-in-Law and will be so missed.

Gordon in the high school yearbook you said you'd be a pro quarterback if you weren't so short. I recall watching you upset Portsmouth in our senior homecoming game and I say to myself: "True....True...!!!"
That and you driving Mr Smith crazy...priceless. God Bless Ya.

My childhood memories are filled with moments with my uncle Gordon. He was present at all of the family parties, he loved to eat dim sum, loved to watch sports and loved to be outdoors. The Cook family’s home in Livermore was the site for many epic parties and hilarious memories. I would spend many days there in the summer playing with my cousins. I will always remember his huge CD collection and I like To think that my love for all music stemmed from going through his CD’s. I wish I could have told him thank you for his contributions to my great childhood and for giving my aunt and cousins such a wonderful life. He will forever hold a special place in my heart. RIP to a great man.

I consider Gordon Cook to be a very good friend of mine. We were introduced by his wife and my dear friend Angie. He was a wonderful person who loved his family and friends. He was friendly, cared about his world around him and could be very generous with his time. I will miss some of the great advice he shared with me. Gordon, Angie and I especially connected over our enjoyment of watching and talking about UNC football and basketball games, as he was big UNC fan. My time with Gordon was gentle and sweet. He will be missed very much.

Gordon, thanks for all the great memories, camping, fishing and all of the family get-togethers. I will always appreciate your frankness, generous heart, sense of humor but most of all your intelligence. You were a walking encyclopedia, so full of knowledge. Your family meant so much to you. God bless you and rest in peace my dear brother-in-law.
Love Debbie
