Shirley and Dale have been our neighbors for more than 35 years. it is very difficult to accept that Shirley will no longer be able to enjoy her flowers, her pet “children”, and the beauty and quietness of the home and property that, together, she and Dale loved so much. For us, she will live on there, but only in our fond memories. Joe and Angela Walker

My favorite memory of Shirley is the day she, Connie and I spent going to estate sales. What a fun day. We went in a house giddy with excitement thinking about the treasures we might find. Quickly realized something was amiss, when there was no one their except a large family dog that bound up the stairs greeting these 3 intruders. We all had a quick glance and rushed out, giggling all the way across the street to the right house. She was a good sport. If I have the adventures Shirley had in her twilight years, I will think myself very fortunate. Rest in Pease Shirley. Elissa Hanson
