Crystal, we have not met, but I feel I know you through my daughter, Kristy Hwang. I wanted to tell you how sorry I am to hear of your mother’s passing, or as my mama’s hospice called it “transition “. I tend to like that. I am an only child and was fortunate enough to have Mama live with me and my husband until her transition last December 27th, at the age of ninety-four. My grief is still very present, although I did finally get to the point that I didn’t spend all day crying. I am telling you this to let you know, even though every situation, every individual, every family grieves differently, we all grieve and, I believe, we grieve with other “fellow grievers”.
I hope that you and your family can find the strength, comfort and peace to see you through the coming days. From what I understand, you were a very devoted and loving daughter. What better gift could you have given your mother!?!?!? Nothing can take away the love you had for each other.
You will be remembered in the days ahead with sincere sympathy.
