Obituary of Kelly Jean Broadhurst Moore

Kelly Jean Broadhurst Moore, age 42, of Rougemont, NC passed away unexpectedly on Monday October 10, 2022 in Alamance County.

Kelly was born August 26, 1980 at Durham Regional Hospital in Durham NC. She moved to Rougemont at an early age and attended Hillsborough Schools.

Kelly is survived by her husband Todd Moore of Burlington, NC., two daughters, Mary Alexandra Fitzgerald, age 22 of Durham, NC, Rachel Lynn Medlin, age 17 of Rougemont, NC. Her brother Shane Broadhurst and niece Nicole Carson Broadhurst of Hillsborough, NC. Her father Jennings Carson Broadhurst III of Rougemont, NC and her mother Dorothy Jones Broadhurst also from Rougemont, NC.

Kelly was good hearted with lots of love for everyone. Always wanted to help and please others. She liked giving money or food to the homeless if she had the money to give. She had such a loving and kind heart and I want to say that she was too trusting to those she hardly knew. Until we meet again Kelly we are all going to miss you.

A Memorial Service will be held at Walker’s Funeral Home Chapel in Hillsborough on Sunday October 30, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. with the family receiving friends after the service.
