We are so sadden to hear Mr. Dollar passed away. He was so special to our family and has been for along time. We met Mr. Dollar years ago (2010/2011) when my Grandson Keith was about 8 or 9 and he bought a pony “Molly” off of him. They bonded that day and stayed in touch through the years. The pony Molly won 3rd place in the first horse show my Grandson participated in. That was in 2011 and Mr. Dollar was there to enjoy the event.
Through my Grandson Keith, my husband Mike and myself felt like Mr. Dollar was part of our family. There were times he made me think of my Daddy who had the same kinda personality. We all loved Mr. Dollar and appreciated him very much. A very intelligent man, a good mentor and friend. He had a donkey named Chipper he wanted us to take the day we got Molly but we didn’t. He told us Chipper was mean and he wanted someone to take him. A few years ago we went and got Chipper and we still have him. Little Molly the best pony Keith has ever had died a few years before we got Chipper. Mr. Dollar talked about his family a lot and kept me updated on what everyone was doing or was going to do. Through Mr. Dollar we met Ms. Judy who took excellent care of him and was special to us also. We were so Blessed to have known Mr. Dollar and we will always cherish our memories, our talks and laughter. I will try to send a few pictures I have that are special to us. Love and prayers during this sad time.
Katrina, Mike and Keith
