Bobby was my first cousin and we were close in age. He was also my best friend growing up. I have so many wonderful memories but as life goes on and God directs your lives in different directions you stay close and in touch but when GOD calls one of us home you then realize what you have lost. We stayed in touch but if I had another chance I would spent more time with him. He was just a phone call away and he would always make a special effort to be with family when we would visit his mom and dad. They were my second set of parents and back then aunts and uncles knew their nieces and nephews and now our families don't even know their first cousins or take time to visit. Oh what love people miss by not taking time to enjoy the moments. Pat, Ashley, Bryce and Serenity you are in my prayers. I think my heart is broken, can't even imagine what you are feeling. Love all of you. Iris Tilley.

I’ll always remember saluting Bobby when he sat in the sound booth and called him “commander”. I’m thankful for the years we shared. When I sent out our weekly devotions Monday, I saw Bobby’s name on our email list. My heart broke.
