Deepest condolences from the Pierce family. I met John through his wife Lynn and his love of cooking. John was a great man and friendly person. Earth has no sorrow that Heaven can’t heal. John was godfather to our daughter Maggie & caring friend to our boys Nico and Jack. My favorite saying of the Dukes was, “they haven’t lost their cute yet” when a little one did something normally most would consider annoying. My favorite memory of John was when my son, Nico, had been invited to play with Colby on a cold, Saturday afternoon. My six year old, jumped out of the tub & raced to their house. John called to ask if I knew he was there because he had ice in hair!
