Mark was the absolute BEST!!! Growing up being friends with his eldest daughter, Allison (aka Alisen), he and Maggie always made me feel so welcome in their home. The dinners he made were BOMB and he made sure there was more than enough for everyone. Allison and I were always up to some antics and Mark always found the humor in our activities. Whenever I think of him, I see him coming through the sliding glass doors with a gentle smile and going into the kitchen to have a pleasant conversation full of humor and laughs with us kids. Mark was truly a gem of a man and I feel so blessed to have known him.

Maggie and family, My deepest sympathy to you all. Mark was a great friend during school years. I will never forget his love of a good time with friends and family, as well as, his love for music even then. I have wonderful memories. He made a difference and was a great friend. I will never forget he and his father jumping out of a sail boat and yelling 'Sail it' and their laughter, nor will I forget them helping to learn to swim on Watkins Lake. My love for water and summer remains in large part from those memories. He truly loved family. His parents were wonderful examples for all of us and my prayers are with them also. I will be thinking of all of you for visitation and my prayers are with you as I can not be. Regards to Rob and Julie also. Take care of each other. Trust God. Safe home Mark.
