I knew Calvin (Julius??-who knew?), during those carefree and happy years of late '50's and early '60's. At Efland Baptist Church and Hillsboro High, Calvin and Elaine were part of the "tribe" with whom I ran. Calvin always had a happy outlook and the kindest of hearts! When he and Elaine fell in love and we were all together, it was just twice the fun and good times!! My heart hurts for all the family at your great loss, and Chuck and my prayers are with you. Surely heaven just got a lot sweeter and more fun!!

I remember well the time Calvin had his sugar truck and came to clean our septic tank. He told me to go get my spoon and enjoy! Prayers to all his family.....

I am so sorry to hear of Calvin’s passing. He was a wonderful friend and super encourager to me when we worked together at NCDOT Orange County Maintenance. He was an expert coffee cup holding motorgrader operator. Didn’t spill a drop. Loved his laughter and sense of humor. My prayers are with you!
