Obituary of Philip Thomas Williams

CHAPEL HILL Philip Thomas Williams, 56, of Chapel Hill, NC passed away at his residence on Wednesday, September 19, 2012. He was the son of the late Bill and Ann Chancey Williams. He was a member of University United Methodist Church, and worked as a Captain with the Durham Police Department until his retirement in 2010. He was a graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill , and a member of The Fraternal Order Of Police. He is survived by his wife Nancy Williams of Chapel Hill, his daughter Jennifer Michelle Williams of Chapel Hill, and a brother, Doug Williams of Canton, NC A graveside service will be held on Saturday, September 22, 2012 at 11 AM at the Chapel Hill Memorial Cemetery on Legion Road with Chaplain Phil Wiggins officating Online condolences may be sent to www.walkersfuneralservice.com .
