I went to school with Bonita for many years. She and I shared almost the same name. I was Bonita Gayle Wilson and she was Bonita Gail Mullins. She was always very kind and I know she will be missed dearly. RIP Gayle W. Parks

My heart is broken to learn of Bonita's passing but I know she fought the hard fight. I will always remember our many lunches together with other "divas" and how Bonita said she always looked forward to the monthly socializing. Also great memories of her driving several of us to Florida for a week-long vacation that she won at her high school reunion at a beautiful beach front home in Santa Rosa Beach, FL. I also remember how great love for anything Disney and how much joy she got from taking her children and grands there. As well as her love for her kitties. I think I finally met someone who loves the kitties as much as I do. My heart goes out to her daughters and their families. I know she was such a large role model to them, and she will be sorely missed. RIP Bonita, Love, Rachel Castle

Bonita and I were at UNC-G together. She was a hoot! I know her family and friends will miss her a bunch. This week, I am wearing the farmer masks she made me last year. RIP, Bonita.
