Obituary of Norma Jean Richter

Norma Jean Richter, a longtime resident of Durham, NC, (Born July 3^rd, 1956, in Plant City, FL) passed away suddenly Monday September 20, 2021. A loving, bright soul, Norma is survived by her devoted partner of 18 years, Elvin Allen of Durham, NC and her loving daughter, Daisy Montrina Grice  and one grandson, Alex Isaiah Keyonne May. She is also survived by her sisters, Sharon, Charlotte, Debra, and Valerie, and many nieces and nephews – all of whom will dearly miss and cherish her forever.  Norma was preceded in death by her mother and father, Minnie and Leonard Love.  

Norma loved her family and friends, all kinds of cats and country music – living each day with a smile that would brighten up any room. A true free spirit, she was a strong, independent woman who lived life to its fullest and loved with a big, generous heart. Rest In Peace dear Norma.
