Obituary of Betsy Miller

Betsy Ann Miller, 74, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday July 10, 2021. 
Betsy was born on November 26, 1946 in Durham, N.C. to the late Henry Dickey and Mae Trimm.  In addition to her parents, Betsy was preceded in death by her late husband, Jerry Miller, and brother, John Dickey. 
Betsy was a graduate of Orange High School.  Most of her adult years were spent in Durham, N.C., where she was employed as an IT supervisor for Duke University and Hospital for over 40 years. In her spare time, Betsy enjoyed spending time with family and friends and traveling to the beach.
Betsy is survived by her long time partner, Larry Stutts of Durham, N.C., sister, Sudie Singletary of Hillsborough, N.C, and brother in law, Benny Singletary of Hillsborough, N.C., sister in law, Becky Dickey of Hillsborough, N.C., and many nieces, nephews, and grandchildren. 
A graveside service will be held on July 15, 2021 at 11:30 AM at New Sharon United Methodist Church in Hillsborough.  
The family will receive friends from 10-11 AM at Walkers Funeral Home in Hillsborough prior to the service.
