Obituary of Elmer Lee Crawford

ORANGE COUNTY MEBANE - Mr. Elmer Lee Crawford, 84, died Sunday, October 28, 2012 at his residence. Mr. Crawford was born on August, 14, 1928 in Alamance County, son of the late Robe Edward and Minnie Ward Crawford. He was retired from White's Furniture Company and was a member of Florence Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife: Hazel Wheeler Crawford; daughter's: Deborah A. Trego, Dorothy L. Crawford, Pamela C. Craven, and Janice C. Craven; brother's: Billy Crawford and Johnny Crawford; sister: Betty Jane Glasgow; 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren also survives. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his first wife: Hazel Ireland Crawford; his son: Gary Lee Crawford; and his great grandchildren: Dustin Davis, Darien Davis, and Destiny Craven. The family will receive friends from 12:30 to 1:45 PM Wednesday, October 31, 2012 at Walker's Funeral Home in Mebane. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, at Walker's Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Hawfields Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Walker's Funeral Home of Mebane, 304 W.
