Louis Franklin Rice

Louis Franklin Rice 78, of Burlington passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 25, 2021. A native of Alamance County, he was the husband of Sandra Hargis Rice, who survives and the son of Charlie Rice and Dillie Vipperman Rice, both deceased. He was a veteran of the US Army and a member of Faith Baptist Church. In addition to his wife of the home, survivors include a daughter Carla Rice and husband Keith; son James Rice and wife Donna; eleven grandchildren; thirty great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; one brother Johnny Rice. He was preceded in death by a daughter Deborah Rice Sartin; son Wayne Rice; three sisters; two brothers. The funeral service will be conducted at Faith Baptist Church, 5100 West Ten Road, in Efland on Friday May 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. by Pastor Keith Spake with the family receiving friends from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Burial will follow at the Church Cemetery. Walker’s Funeral Home of Mebane is assisting the Rice Family.
